AI Engineer?
Mon Jan 6 2025
The label matters less than the stack I can ship. I'm a builder who uses AI where it makes users win.
I could chase titles. AI Engineer. Data Engineer. Whatever. Real question: can I deliver an experience that feels like magic and stands up in production? My stack: pragmatic models (hosted or fine‑tuned), clean APIs, event pipelines, evals, guardrails, and UX that invites trust. That's AI engineering enough.
Honesty: I'm still learning the deep ML math. But I know product, data plumbing, microservices, and how to ship. I integrate what exists, measure, and improve. That's a legitimate lane in 2025.
North Star: Less "Am I?" More "Did I?" Ship proofs. Document wins. Let users call me what they want.
