Specialisation is for Insects

Specialization is powerful yet dangerous. If I'm a fork-shaped engineer, can I be iteratively T-shaped deep?

The quote is provocative for a reason. If you only know one thing, you become brittle when the world shifts. If you know everything shallowly, you're useless. The answer is a deep stem with rotating branches: master one core, sample adjacent skills, and rotate depth based on goals.

Right now my stem is product engineering for ethical finance. My branches: data, AI, compliance, growth. In another season, I might deepen AI or risk. The point is to stay adaptable without becoming scattered.

Pick a stem (5+ years). Choose two branches (12 months). Run quarterly sprints. Archive what's not serving the mission.
